Supporting our Local Community

At Househam Sprayers, we are interested and keen to support our local community and East Lindsey District Council with new and developing events and projects.

Waving the flag for British Manufacturing at Agritechnica

Househam Sprayers has recently received from the Department of International Trade and East Lindsey District Council grant funding to attend Agritechnica in Germany later this year. The show is the largest agricultural show in the world and the event takes place every two years.

All the leading companies in the industry will present their innovations at Agritechnica, which is viewed as the showcase for the global agricultural engineering industry and a forum for the future of plant production. More than 2,750 exhibitors will attend from 51 countries and 450,000 visitors from 130 countries are expected to travel in to Hannover in November to do business and to learn about the very latest technological advances in farming engineering. Agritechnica is really where engineering changes and is the meeting place for decision makers.  The team at Househam Sprayers want to expand their global networks.

Robert Willey, Managing Director commented: “We are delighted to be attending the event and hope to secure sprayer sales in Europe and the rest of the world”.   “As the market place is mature in the UK we need to look to developing markets like the Baltics, CIS countries and Ukraine,  Africa to both sustain and grow our business”.

Agritechnica is the global market place for doing businesses in the agri-sector.   Landowners, farmers, and government officials will all attend the show to find out the very latest technology being used in farming. Househam Sprayers looks to the future as both an influencer and an innovator in this sector.

Portfolio Holder for Rural Economy at East Lindsey District Council, Councillor Adam Grist, said: “Househam Sprayers is an ambitious business with huge potential to develop a wider customer base outside the UK and we hope that attending this show will give them the platform to do just that”.

Jim Dickinson, Overseas Export Sales Director commented: “We shall be taking our very popular Air-Ride and new Predator machines to Germany”. “The Air-Ride machine is incredibly versatile, and is packed with lots of features which include a high capacity spraying system, advanced sprayer technology and great driver comfort”. “We can compete globally with our sprayers and its fantastic that we shall be in Germany again flying the flag for British engineering”.

Agritechnica is held at Hannover Messe, Germany from Sunday 10th November until Saturday 16 November 2019.
