The Spirit has been a versatile and popular sprayer since it was introduced in 2013. Designed to be a simple to use, low weight self-propelled machine for a wide range of uses; offering a 3000ltr capacity tank and precision nozzle control to maximise productivity.

The power at the heart of the Spirit is the easy access Mercedes MTU 4R1000 Stage V 170hp engine, delivering a maximum speed of up to 40kph. Rear-mounted for optimal weight distribution and a quiet cab as well as compliance with all current legislative requirements, the engine is just one of the performance-enhancing features you’ll appreciate.
With a wide choice of row crops and low ground pressure tyres, the Spirit’s Househam-designed chassis combines light weight with the strength and reliability to cope with long days in the field.
90cm ground clearance comes as standard on the Spirit. But if you need extra height, the Spirit can be adapted to suit your needs. As well as clearing the crop, the low weight chassis – just 6000 kg dry weight – active air bag suspension system, and a rear mounted engine optimise weight distribution. In fact, the Spirit achieves a near perfect 50:50 weight distribution and a low centre of gravity.
A 200-litre high capacity fuel tank and a 250-litre GRP clean water tank ensure high endurance for extended working days.
The Spirit comes complete with Househam’s unique Total Machine Control (TMC) system.
TMC is an intuitive, easy-to-use, touchscreen console that integrates many functions into one simple to use touchscreen console. The TMC system provides you with complete application rate control, engine management and diagnostics, hydrostatic drive control and fault system monitoring via built-in warnings, fault detection, and automatic service reminders.

Advanced sprayer technology includes 19mm stainless steel spray lines, automatic shut-off to avoid spray overlap, and a choice of 24m or 28m booms with pantograph arms for accurate boom height control.

A whole range of productivity-boosting technology is built into the Spirt. A choice of dual or quad nozzles, for instance, helps to reduce boom pressure and drift. You also benefit from load sensing hydraulics that operate as quietly and efficiently as possible. The NavGuide GPS mapping offers precise control and guidance at your fingertips. The Househam Intelligent Transmission System (HITS) boosts efficiency even further by helping to regulate the maximum speed both on and off road. And when you’re starting or stopping on inclines, our built-in Hill Assist system ensures smooth operation.
Operators are going to spend a lot of time in their cab, so it needs to be ergonomically designed and comfortable to ensure optimal productivity.
The Spirit now features the comfortable, spacious and high spec Claas Jaguar X10 Cabin. The panoramic, ultra-quiet cab features full climate control, premium leather air-suspended seat, cool box, DAB radio and CD with Bluetooth, plus electrically adjustable mirrors.
Househam’s Total Machine Control (TMC) user-friendly digital display panel, which puts convenience and functionality at the operator’s finger tips.
Other features designed to provide comfort and enhance productivity include independent levelling valve air suspension, easy and safe cleaning, and rapid fill and wash-out for easy maintenance.
