We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to champion our industry-leading machines, build strong customer partnerships, and drive sales growth across the UK.
The Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our commercial success. Managing your own territory, you’ll combine strategic sales planning with hands-on customer engagement — from the office to the field. Expect a varied, fast-paced role with regular travel, customer demonstrations, and the chance to represent Househam at major UK events.
What You’ll Be Doing

Grow Sales: Identify and maximise opportunities for new and used self-propelled crop sprayers

Build Relationships: Develop long-lasting partnerships with customers, offering expert advice on safe and efficient machine use

Hit Targets: Drive performance and exceed agreed sales goals

Quotes & Orders: Prepare accurate, professional quotations and order confirmations

Be Our Ambassador: Represent Househam at UK shows, exhibitions, and factory visits

Demonstrate Excellence: Plan and deliver machine demonstrations alongside senior management, including on-farm delivery and operation

Manage Trade-Ins: Accurately assess and document used machines with full specifications, descriptions, and photography
What You’ll Bring
Essential:

Proven sales experience within an agricultural or machinery environment

Strong technical understanding, including GPS and Precision Agriculture technology

A self-motivated, target-driven mindset

Professional, confident communication skills — in person and online

Full UK driving licence
Desirable:

Knowledge of farming practices and agronomy

Experience operating agricultural machinery

Willingness to undertake product and sales training
-
PA1 & PA2 certifications (an advantage, not essential)
