Househam is a leading UK manufacturer of self-propelled crop sprayers, supporting customers across the UK and worldwide.
Are you a skilled engineer who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, and supporting customers directly in the field? We are looking for a Field Engineer to join our Product Support team, delivering first-class service to customers across the UK.
The Role
As a Field Engineer, you’ll be the face of Househam in the field, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining crop sprayers to the highest standard.
This is a varied role combining both field-based and workshop responsibilities. During quieter periods, you will support workshop-based service and maintenance activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out service, maintenance, and repairs on crop sprayers
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs with a “right first time” approach
- Supporting both field-based and workshop activities
- Completing job cards, reports and timesheets accurately
- Deliver a high level of customer service at all times
As we support customers across the UK and worldwide, the role may include opportunities for overseas travel. Occasional overnight stays within the UK will also be required.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Experience in a similar engineering role (agricultural, plant, or machinery)
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Reliable and dependable, with a methodical and organised approach
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, with strong communication and customer service skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable (but not essential):
- Knowledge of agricultural air-conditioning systems
- Experience with CANbus, GPS, or electronic systems

Working Environment
This role involves working remotely at customer sites, as well as within a workshop environment, and will include manual handling activities.
