Househam is a leading UK manufacturer of self-propelled crop sprayers, supplying customers across the UK and worldwide. We are looking for a reliable, methodical, and customer-focused Parts Sales Advisor to join our parts department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in agricultural or automotive parts sales who enjoys working in an active, hands-on environment.
The Role
As a key member of our Parts Sales team, you will play an important role in supporting customers and ensuring the smooth running of our parts operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling customer enquiries and orders via telephone and at the sales counter
- Delivering excellent customer service to both customers and internal teams
- Liaising with a global customer base, adapting communication where needed
- Maintaining stock levels, including restocking shelves
- Accurately processing data using internal systems (Microsoft Navision)
- Maintaining a professional image and delivering a consistently positive customer experience
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in a similar role (agricultural parts, automotive parts, or related industry preferred)
- Reliable and dependable, with a methodical and organised approach
- A confident problem-solver with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Comfortable working under pressure
- Professional, with strong communication and customer service skills
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Previous experience in parts sales (agricultural, automotive, or similar)
- Experience using MRP systems
- Good IT skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Desirable:
- Forklift truck / Teleporter licence
- Manual Handling training
- Experience with Microsoft Navision (training provided)
