Visit us at the 137th Lincolnshire Show!

Following on from LAMMA at the end of May and Cereals 22 earlier this month we’re preparing for the next show on the agricultural calendar – The Lincolnshire Show on 22nd and 23rd June.

Attracting over 60,000 visitors each year the show is the county’s flagship event and showcases the best that Lincolnshire has to offer in terms of food, farming, education, heritage and entertainment.

This year’s event will celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, taking on a royal purple colour scheme. The Showground will be dressed in colourful bunting and stands will be decorated with a royal theme to create a street party across the showground.

As usual we’ll have our latest edition Spirit, Air-Ride and Harrier self-propelled sprayers on display all featuring the latest updates to the engine canopy, Jaguar Claas Cab and the new GPS, NavGuide.

The team will also be on hand to answer any queries you may have about our sprayers, technology or after-sales support services.

This year we’ll also be giving visitors the chance to win a luxury hamper from the famous Myers Bakery in Horncastle by guessing the number of balloons we’ve managed to squeeze into one of the sprayer cabs on display on the day!

Come and find us on Avenue 3 stand number 27. We look forward to seeing you there!

Duncan & Toplis Househam Sprayers Case Study

For almost 30 years, Househam has relied on the services of Duncan & Toplis for its expertise in agriculture and manufacturing, as Robert Willey explains in this case study…

SUPPORTING OUR CUSTOMERS DURING COVID-19..

As we stated on our social media platforms; our team here at Househam will adhere to the rules set out by the Government; however we will continue to be operational to enable us to support our valued customers during these turbulent times.

We want to be able to support our farmers especially now the weather has finally turned and demand on agriculture has increased. Like all manufacturers, parts are sourced globally with a lot coming from Europe, so while COVID-19 is causing delays at border crossings and some suppliers having to reduce or delay output we will no doubt feel the knock on effect. We just ask that you bear with us during this time and we will help where we can.

With public safety in mind, we ask that you please:

PARTS

  • If possible, call in advance for your parts requests to avoid unnecessary journeys and face to face contacts. Parts can be dispatched by Royal Mail or courier as normal (subject to service levels).
  • Collections can be made from our stores counter. We have ‘safe-distancing’ in place but please respect and follow our guidelines on this.

SERVICE

  • We will support on farm breakdowns but with no direct human contact. If our engineers do have to interact face to face, a 2m space should be observed at all times.
  • General service and maintenance work will still be carried out subject to availability. Our service team will support where possible; however we have been advised that some hotels will be closed which may cause disruption in our engineers travelling long distance to customers.

SALES

  • Our sales team are available and contactable by email and telephone to help with your requirements.

COVID-19 UPDATE..

At Househam, we are doing everything we can to ensure its ‘business as usual’ whilst taking into account the best interests of our colleagues, customers and suppliers.

Over the past 30 years of the Househam brand, we have experienced and weathered turbulent and unpredictable times and there is no doubt that these are worrying and uncertain times at present for everyone; but, we would like to reassure all of our valued customers and suppliers that we at Househam are open and remain fully operational.

We have implemented measures to ensure the health and wellbeing of our team, customers and suppliers, following advice and guidance from the Government with regular updates to any changes.

Our team have been fully briefed and all understand the important role we each play in helping to ensure the cleanliness of our working environment. We have also minimised face to face meetings and replaced these with phone and video calls so we can continue to be on hand to help and support you all with your crop-spraying needs.

Globally, we are not out of the woods with this crisis; as a British manufacturer based in rural Lincolnshire, we appreciate and understand that there will be some struggles ahead whilst the economy recovers and trade gets back to normal.

Like all manufacturers, parts are sourced globally with a lot coming from Europe, so while COVID-19 is causing delays at border crossings we will no doubt feel the knock on effect of these delays. We are confident that our approach will successfully guide us through the coming weeks and appreciate your support and understanding during this surreal time.

If you have any questions or concerns at this time, or we can help you in any way please feel free to get in touch on our main number 01400 276 000 or with your usual Househam point of contact.
